Superintendent's Letter on Leigh High Vacancies

 Dear Leigh High School Community,

As Campbell Union High School District’s new superintendent, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to provide an update on the status of the district's progress on filling Leigh High School's remaining administrative openings.

Continuity and good leadership are prerequisites for success in any organization. That’s why I’ve been working in concert with our human resources department to ensure that Leigh’s new administrative team is in place before the beginning of the new school year.

To that end, all of the administrative positions at Leigh High School have been filled with the exception of two: the principal and one guidance advisor.

The first round of interviews for the principal position at Leigh is scheduled for Tuesday, June 28, 2016.

A second round involving myself will occur later this same week.

We hope to name a new principal for Leigh High School as soon as possible, and we will issue an announcement as soon as a selection is made.

We will also update the community about the status of the school’s WASC accreditation once we receive that information from the commission at the end of the month.

In the meantime, please feel free to contact us with any additional questions you may have.

Sincerely,
Robert Bravo, Ed.D
Superintendent
