Boynton High School is the newest campus in the Campbell Union High School District. It was conceived as a dedicated home for the District's Continuation School.

Boynton arose out of the need to renovate the Blackford campus in preparation for leasing of that campus. Rather than move the Blackford Continuation students into portables at another site, the District committed to providing a permanent High School site for the continuation program. Students at Boynton will now have their own

campus and will no longer have to share resources with tenants and other Blackford site users.

Boynton is modeled after the finger plan schools built throughout the District and includes many of the amenities present at other sites. It includes the familiar quad and “main street” components as well as dedicated PE and playfield facilities. While certainly smaller than the rest of the sites in the District, it maximizes use of the 4 acre Boynton site to ensure a complete array of educational features. It is intended to offer Boynton students an educational experience equal to that of each of the other sites in the District.

Since the opening of Boynton, student performance at the school has improved and student pride in their new campus has skyrocketed. The students and teachers take excellent care of the facility and exhibit much pride in their school. Boynton is a clear example of the gains that can be made when students are offered a high quality, dignified learning environment.
