buildings at Boynton allow for operation of cooling functions. This
work was completed over Summer 2005.

Modernization Complete
Alterations and Renovations to Buildings E F, M, N and Q are now
complete. All buildings received new finishes, new data and communications
distribution, new heating, and new lighting. Notable components
include a renovated Team Teaching room in Unit E, renovated Music
Classrooms at Unit F, renovated Home Economics Classrooms at Unit
M and reconfigured and renovated Student Services at Unit N.

Work on the Football Bowl is underway and progressing. Improvements
include renovated track areas and new artificial turf.

Extensive reconfigurations at Units R and C, in addition

Science/ CUHSD Observatory Complete
The CUHSD Observatory at Prospect High School is complete. This unique
feature promises to produce many stimulating images of stars, galaxies
and other phenomena via its powerful telescope, computer tracking
and imaging, and remote display capabilities. .

Alteration and Renovation of Units A and C is complete.
Work included new finishes, systems and reconfigured Classrooms to
effect select larger, project classrooms. Work also included accessibility
upgrades, replacement of air handlers with newer, efficient equipment,
and new lighting and power systems.

Unit E involves relocation of Student Services to Unit B and conversion
of the previous Student Services area and two old Science Classrooms
into a new state-of-the art Library Facility.

Modernization Phase 2 Complete
Summer 2005 saw the completion of renovation and alteration
to Units E,G and H at Westmont. Work at Unit G also included construction
of a new Art Courtyard- outdoor area dedicated to large-scale art
projects as well as housing for kilns. Home Economics classrooms at
Unit H were reconfigured to allow for flexible project and lecture
spaces, and were also outfitted with new appliances. s.

Ag Farm Prep Project Complete
Site infrastructure work and temporary classroom and storage
facilities are complete, which allowed for a smooth transition to
the work of building a New Ag Sciences Facility.
Westmont
Ag Farm Reconstruction Progressing
Work on the New Ag Sciences Facility is progressing well,
with the bulk of site demolition operations complete, including
removal of the old classroom building. The New building will include
classroom, lecture and shop spaces as well as new toilet facilities.
Special features include high efficiency heating system and a photovoltaic
array on the roof.
