Citizens Oversight Committee
The District convened a Bond Oversight Committee for Measure C, passed in 1999. The convening of this committee was optional. However, the District wished to continue public participation in the oversight of expenditures associated with the Bond measure to ensure that expenditures aligned with the intent of the Ballot Measure.
Upon the completion of Measure C, the District passed another Bond (Measure G) in 2006. An Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee exists for Measure G. All expenditures of Measure G are evaluated by the committee to ensure bond proceeds are expended only on the school facilities projects referenced in the ballot language.
We are excited to share with our community the passing of Measure AA on November 8, 2016. The members of our community continued to trust and provide their support by approving a $275,000,000 bond. We are excited to open the application process to become a member of the Independent Citizens' Oversight Committee for Measure AA.
