CUHSD Families, Senior students and their parents or independent students will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or the California Dream Act Application per the recently passed: California AB 469
Important reasons why you would want to complete this by March 2nd:
- Receive money for education, trade school, community college and/or college
- Might be required for college scholarship consideration
- California eligibility money for education is always left over
- Financial aid offer from schools before making a decision
- In case you have a financial impact in the future
There will be events open to our district families to receive one to one help with trained financial aid professionals at the following schools as well as online support.
- Branham Cash for College: February 7th 5pm to 7pm in cafeteria
- Westmont Cash for College: February 16th 5pm to 7pm library
- Del Mar Cash for College: February 23 530-730 in Cafeteria
- Leigh Financial Aid Night: January 31, 6:30-7:30pm
- Prospect Cash for College: Jan 24 5-7pm (Zoom Link, open to all students)
