Ribbon-Cutting Ceremonies held at Branham and Leigh High Schools

Branham and Leigh High Schools celebrated the new two-story classroom buildings with a ribbon-cutting ceremony before Back to School Night last week. The new buildings mark an important milestone as the District rapidly upgrades facilities with Measure AA bond funds.

Dozens of community members, staff, students and families attended the ceremonies, which ended with the ceremonial ribbon-cutting and tours of the new building. At Branham High School, Student Board Member Geetanjali Jain had the honor of cutting the ribbon. At Leigh High School a teacher and parent had the honor of cutting the ribbon. Michael Posey is a long-standing employee at CUHSD and a current history teacher at Leigh High School and Tamara Strachman is a Leigh parent and Measure AA and facilities advisory committee member.

Campbell Union High School District plans to host additional ribbon-cuttings to celebrate the major construction milestones at each school site.
