Campbell Adult and Community Education (CACE) Unveils New Student Portrait Gallery

Campbell Adult and Community Education (CACE) celebrated the grand opening of their student portrait gallery on Wednesday, November 6. The photo gallery celebrates CACE students for their diversity, struggles and accomplishments and serves to inspire other students who may recognize their own journey within the portraits and student stories.

The gallery, which was funded by the CUHSD Education Foundation, highlights the transformative nature of adult education by showcasing several student success stories.  Many of the adult students are English Language learners and immigrants or were students who experienced challenges that made it difficult for them to be successful in a traditional education environment.

One of the stories showcased is of an immigrant student named Edmundo who is working toward achieving his high school diploma.

"CACE is a good institution that helps immigrants learn English. CACE helps everybody. It has helped me so much. I started as an ESL level 1 and went up to level 5. Now I am working on my high school diploma." said Edmundo, CACE student.

Thank you to the dedicated staff at CACE for their commitment to student success!

The Student Portrait Gallery is located at the CACE front office on the Del Mar High School campus.
