On December 13, more than 300 students, many with disabilities, packed the Branham High School gymnasium for the annual Winter Wonderland Dance.
The event gives students with disabilities from across CUHSD and the South Bay the opportunity to make connections and participate in school activities in a fun, unique way. Students danced to Christmas and pop music and had an opportunity to meet Santa Claus.
The Branham High School Best Buddies club helps coordinate the event with other schools across Santa Clara County. The Best Buddies club creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, leadership development, and inclusivity for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
