Public Hearing Notice: Proposed Conveyance of Easements

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Education Code section 17556 et seq., the Board of Trustees (“Board”) of the Campbell Union High School District (“District”) has adopted Resolution #58-06-18-20 entitled Resolution of Intent to Convey Easements (“Resolution of Intention”).  The easements will be for the purpose of facilitating an exchange of property whereby Robson Homes, LLC (“Robson Homes”) will be responsible for installing, constructing, maintaining, operating, altering, adding to, repairing, replacing, reconstructing, inspecting an emergency vehicular access roadway, a pedestrian and vehicular access roadway across District property, as well as installing, constructing, maintaining, operating, altering, adding to, repairing, replacing, reconstructing, inspecting, and removing a monument and related appurtenances (“Easements”). The Easements are proposed to be located on a portion of the District’s property located adjacent to District’s Administrative Offices, located at 3235 Union Avenue San Jose, CA 95124.  A public hearing will be held on the question of the District conveying the Easements during the regular meeting of the Board on July 16, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable.  The meeting will be held remotely. There will be no, public, physical location to attend or view the meeting.

Members of the public may submit a request to make a public comment by telephone through this link: https://forms.gle/yR8oTNY9LAFatVhD6 beginning 15 minutes before the Board meeting.

Those that submit a public comment form will be called via telephone at the number they provided when the public hearing item is reached on the agenda. If the person does not answer, the Board President will move onto the next public comment request. These matters will be considered at such time as this agenda item is considered by the Board of the School District. At the time and place of the public hearing, if no legal protest satisfying the requirements of Education Code section 17560 is entered, the Board may adopt a resolution by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of its Board members authorizing and directing the execution of an Easement and Maintenance Agreement for the District to convey the Easements.
