Prospect and Westmont High School Closed Due to Power Outages - 3/15/2023

San Jose, CA - March 15, 2023

As of 9:00 AM Wednesday morning, Prospect High School in Saratoga and Westmont High School in Campbell - both Campbell Union High School District schools - made the difficult decision to cancel classes for the rest of the day as power has not been restored to campus.

CUHSD does not take school closure lightly. Our priority is to ensure students are safe and that we provide a safe learning environment which includes having classrooms that provide adequate heating and lighting. Without power, we can not provide either.

The remaining CUHSD schools have access to power and as of 9:00 AM this morning remain open.
