You’re Invited: CUHSD National Fentanyl Awareness Day Community Presentation and Narcan Distribution

Dear CUHSD Families,

May 9th marks the 2nd annual National Fentanyl Awareness Day. I would like to invite you to a community presentation and Narcan distribution event at Branham High School. Participants will receive training on administering Narcan to respond to opioid overdoses, and in-person attendees will receive a Narcan kit. For those who cannot attend in person, we will also be providing a livestream of the event.

Additionally, our district will be hosting lunchtime events for students and staff throughout the week to raise awareness. These community and student awareness events are made possible through  collaboration with Pacific Clinics, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Services, and the Santa Clara County Opioid Overdose Prevention Project (SCCOOPP). Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our loved ones and our community. I look forward to seeing you there.
