Campbell Union High School District announced a vacancy on the Board of Trustees due to the resignation of Wendy Dillingham effective January 5, 2017. The Board is required to appoint a provisional board member within 60 days. On December 15-16, the Board of Trustees held interviews of qualified candidates and selected Kristiina Arrasmith. Ms. Arrasmith will be sworn in and seated at a Board Meeting on January 19, 2017. It is further noticed that unless a petition calling for a special election, containing a sufficient number of signatures, is filed in the office of the county superintendent of schools within 30 days of the date of the provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment. The term of the appointment is through November 2018.
