CASSY School-Based Counseling

CASSY (Counseling and Support Services for Youth) presentation

One-on-one counseling is provided to our students through a district partnership with CASSY (Counseling and Support Services for Youth). CASSY provides professional mental health services directly on campus at no cost to students or families.

Virtual Tele-therapy Program for Students

CUHSD partners with Daybreak Health to offer 1:1 tele-therapy for students and families with licensed clinicians. Services are provided at no cost (insurance-eligible or Medicaid-supported).

  • Referral → intake appointment → matched with a therapist within 1–2 weeks
  • Weekly 50-minute sessions for ~12 weeks
  • Sessions via Zoom — before, during, or after school; weekdays or Saturdays
  • Students ages 5–9: Family Teletherapy Program (parent/guardian participates)
  • Students 10+: Individual 1:1 Teletherapy

Therapists help students understand emotions and learn coping strategies they can use at school, at home, and throughout their lives.
