A Westmont High School senior bound for UC Berkeley received a scholarship valued at $100,000 in a surprise presentation involving Campbell Union High School District (CUHSD), Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), and Westmont High School on May 26, 2016.

but really want why are we here why is PG&E here but we are very big about stem education  stem programs like the robotics Club near Westmont and of course exemplary teachers like cocoons but I do have to confess that I rather talk a little bit today about students that are involved in stem and interested in stand in really one student in particular so beyond clock would you mind big honor and privilege to prison with a $20,000 a year scholarship DVD PG&E Better Together stem scholarship select scholarship and I have to get on my Note 2 because his list of accomplishment accomplishments is impressive so just a few highlights here we on graduating first in his class while at the same time having helping take care of his grandma and working a part-time job he is a National Merit scholar is Westmont Chloe our plant Award winner he has won the California state seal of bi-literacy award because he's willing in is Alaska a rotary scholarship winner he is a member of the Key Club the robotics Club the varsity swim team completed a summer internship at Stanford Institute of medicine summer research program and he has taken 11 AP classes so I don't know where are you quite found the time to do all that I'm exhausted just reading this message but congratulations to you and we are thrilled Campbell Union High School District and the Board of Trustees we would like to thank you  very scholarship award congratulations Julian house one effect the robotics class mr. Tunes you guys have done a great job as well as Miss full of Westmont and I would like to acknowledge the trustees who are here today or board president Miss Linda going to miss Stacy Brown Minister Matthew Dean  I just wanted to  hey this is an amazing example in outcome of the Candace Investments family and high school district is Maine and its stem program Westmont is known as a stem Powerhouse in the district I don't know if you know that but we are that's my favorite cutting answer the first to have engineering program and having a credibly strong program a highly competitive in a robot well I'm the big think you really needs to go to the great support from our Board of Trustees for scene raising an importance of stem in the Silicon Valley in shot hello nervous because I feel like I haven't received an away like this like in my memory as big as this so after that I just feel very hey honey sorry it's just one less thing to worry about in college use this is going to really help me all the more so I can see it like iPhone how many genes are one our school board members giving you some advice what did what did he tell you she said College dissing as hard as everyone says it is he says no one knows our home take me to stay on top of it like you'll pretty much sixth selves
