Public Hearing Notice: Public Hearing regarding Increase to Statutory School Facility Fees Imposed on New Resdidential and Commercial/Industrial Construction

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

APPROVING TO INCREASE STATUTORY SCHOOL FACILITY FEES IMPOSED ON NEW RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION PURSUANT TO EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17620 AND GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 65995

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees ("Board") of the Campbell Union High School District ("School District") will hold a Public Hearing at its Regular Meeting to be held on 5/7/2020 to allow for public comment prior to consideration of its report titled "Residential and Commercial/Industrial Development School Fee Justification Study for Campbell Union High School District" ("Fee Study"), and consider adopting a resolution of the Board of the School District to increase Statutory School Facility Fees Imposed on New Residential and Commercial/Industrial Construction Pursuant to Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995. The Fee Study justifying such increases, which are incorporated herein by this reference, are on file at the School District’s offices, located at 3235 Union Avenue, Campbell, CA 95124, and are available for public review from 4/24/2020 through 5/7/2020. They may also be viewed on the School District’s website at www.cuhsd.org.

The Public Hearing of the School District, to be held 5/7/2020 will begin at 6:00 pm or as soon thereafter as practicable. The meeting will be held remotely. Members of the public may submit a request to make a public comment by telephone through this link: https://forms.gle/yR8oTNY9LAFatVhD6 beginning 15 minutes before the Board meeting. Those that submit a public comment form will be call via telephone at the number they provided when the public hearing item is reached on the agenda. If the person does not answer, the Board President will move onto the next public comment request. These matters will be considered at such time as this agenda item is considered by the Board of the School District.
