Public Hearing Notice: Public Hearing regarding proposed dedication and conveyance of utility easements to PG&E

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Education Code section 17556, et seq., the Board of Trustees (“Board”) of the Campbell Union High School District (“District”) has adopted a Resolution of Intention to dedicate and convey a public utility easement to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (“PG&E”) for right of way purposes, so PG&E can construct, reconstruct, install, inspect, maintain, remove, use and operate the right of way (including ingress and egress thereto) for electric utility and communication purposes, in, on, over, under and across a 10-foot wide portion of the Del Mar High School property, located at 1224 Del Mar Avenue, San Jose, CA (APN 282-27-001) (“Easement”).

A public hearing will be held on the question of the District conveying the Easement during the regular meeting of the Board on September 17, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable. The meeting will be held remotely. There will be no, public, physical location to attend or view the meeting.

Members of the public may submit a request to make a public comment by telephone through this link: https://forms.gle/yR8oTNY9LAFatVhD6 beginning 15 minutes before the Board meeting.

Those that submit a public comment form will be called via telephone at the number they provided when the public hearing item is reached on the agenda. If the person does not answer, the Board President will move onto the next public comment request. These matters will be considered at such time as this agenda item is considered by the Board of the District.
 
At the time and place of the public hearing, if no legal protest is entered, the Board may adopt a resolution by a two-thirds vote of its members authorizing and directing. if no legal protest satisfying the requirements of Education Code section 17560 is entered, the Board may adopt a resolution by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of its Board members authorizing and directing the execution of an easement deed conveying the Easement to PG&E.
