  1. Goal 1: Create a welcoming atmosphere for families, encouraging their equal partnership in their children’s education.
  2. Goal 2: Provide families with tools to enhance and extend learning such as educational technology, learning resources, parent support programs, and community partnerships.
  3. Goal 3: Establish a supportive community fostering mutual learning among families, incorporating past participants’ experiences, and offering ongoing engagement through family-led events and leadership training.
  4. Goal 4: Establish a comprehensive network of community resources through strategic partnerships.
  5. Goal 5: Develop staff’s skills in evidence-based techniques to assist families in achieving their children’s learning goals to include social-emotional and academic learning.
  6. Goal 6: Encourage families to take active roles in school decision-making processes to ensure their voices are heard in shaping school policies and programs.

Newcomer ELD Summer Academy: Jumpstart Into High School

Newcomer ELD Summer Academy is a free summer program for incoming 9th graders who have been enrolled in U.S. schools for less than three years. Students earn high school credits and build English skills at Branham High School from June 11 through July 2, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Registration is open now at bit.ly/CUHSD2026ELD or by emailing [email protected].

Campbell Union High School District Marks Holocaust Remembrance Day With Districtwide Student Learning and Reflection

Today, in recognition of Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Campbell Union High School District (CUHSD) will engage students at Boynton, Branham, Del Mar, Leigh, Prospect, and Westmont High Schools in meaningful learning experiences that honor the memory of the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and the millions of others targeted by Nazi persecution. Through classroom-based instruction, guided reflection, interactive exhibits, and student-led activities, students will examine the historical consequences of hate and the importance of standing up for others.
