ParentSquare Help for Parents & Guardians
ParentSquare is how Campbell Union High School District communicates with families — email, text, phone, and app. Your ParentSquare account is automatically created from the email and phone number in Aeries. Use this page to manage notifications, fix common issues, and get help.
First Step: Make Sure Aeries Is Correct
- ParentSquare uses the email and phone number stored in Aeries for each parent/guardian.
- If you are not receiving messages, or your student isn't showing in ParentSquare, most of the time Aeries still has an old email/phone on file.
- If your contact information changes, you must update Aeries — it will sync to ParentSquare.

What You Can Do in ParentSquare
ParentSquare is your one place for school communication. It lets you receive and respond to messages from the district, school, and teachers. You can use the web, the mobile app, text, or email.
- Receive messages from school via email, text message, or app notification
- Choose instant alerts or a single Daily Digest at 6:00 PM
- Communicate in your preferred language (built-in translation)
- Comment on school postings and participate in group messages
- Sign up for parent-teacher conferences online
- Join or follow school groups (PTSA, clubs, sports, after-school programs, etc.)
- Sign permission slips, make payments, receive report cards, sign up to volunteer — all from your phone or ParentSquare web
Note: Even if you never log in, you will still get urgent texts, emails, and phone calls to the contact info on file in Aeries.
Control How and When You Get Messages
You can choose how ParentSquare contacts you (text / email / app) and when: instantly, or once per day in a 6:00 PM Daily Digest.
- Go to My Account → Notification Settings in ParentSquare.
- Pick one of these for each contact method:
OFF (no notifications)
Instant (you get everything right away)
Digest (one summary at 6 PM daily)

Have More Than One Student?
Families with multiple CUHSD students — or staff who are also parents — can switch schools and see all students from one ParentSquare account.
- “My child is not showing up.” First, contact your school's guidance clerk / registrar to confirm your contact information in Aeries is correct for that student.
- If the school confirms Aeries is correct, sign in to ParentSquare and use the “Switch Schools / Switch to the District” option to add/merge the new student.

Follow Clubs, Sports, PTSA, etc.
ParentSquare has “Groups.” Think sports teams, boosters, PTSA, after-school programs, committees, etc. Joining a group means you get only the updates you care about.

My child is not showing up on my account. How do I add them?
- You are correctly listed as a parent/guardian in Aeries.
- Your email address and phone number in Aeries are correct and active.
How do I resubscribe to text notifications?
Text the word START to 66458. This will resume text messaging to your phone.
You can also update your notification preferences: go to My Account → Notification Settings in ParentSquare.
- OFF: turn off notifications
- Instant: get each message right away
- Digest: get one summary at 6 PM daily

Can I add or update my own email or phone number?
Not directly in ParentSquare.
CUHSD ParentSquare accounts are synced to Aeries. ParentSquare will only use the email and phone number that are in Aeries for you.
To change your email or phone number, update Aeries here:Aeries Parent Portal (cuhsd.org/aeries)

After Aeries is updated, ParentSquare will sync.
I'm not receiving notifications. What should I check?
- Confirm Aeries is correct.

Go to My Account → Notification Settings and make sure the notifications you want are not set to OFF. - Check your email spam / junk folder.
Look for emails from [email protected] and mark them “Not Spam.” - Allow ParentSquare emails.
Add [email protected] or the domain parentsquare.com to your email’s Safe Senders / Allowed list. - Turn text alerts back on.

Who to Contact for Help
1. First, confirm your info is correct in Aeries: cuhsd.org/aeries (If you need help using Aeries or doing Data Confirmation, see these Aeries instructions.)
2. If you cannot update your info in Aeries, or something in Aeries looks wrong, contact your school’s guidance clerk / registrar. Ask them to: update your email / phone number and make sure you are listed correctly as a parent/guardian for your student.
3. Language settings also sync from Aeries. If you need messages in another language, update your language preference in Aeries (same process as updating contact info). If you need help changing that, reach out to your registrar.
4. Still not receiving ParentSquare messages after everything above? Contact your school’s Community Liaison for additional support.
