California Government Code sections 66001(d) and 66006(b) require school districts to report on the amount of developer fees collected each fiscal year and the manner in which they were spent.   The district Board of Trustees will take up a report and resolution on this matter at its April 4, 2024 meeting.  The report and resolution will cover the fees collected and spent for the 2022-23 fiscal year and will explain the anticipated use of the fund balance in the district’s Capital Facilities Account.

The law requires that this information be available to interested parties and the public not less than 15 days prior to the meeting in which the report and resolution are approved by the board of trustees. The district has made this information available for public review on its website www.cuhsd.org and at its Business Services office located at 3235 Union Avenue, San Jose, CA 95124.
